I would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to just a few of our very talented artists and crafters. All of them are based in Shropshire and Staffordshire and we are very lucky to have such a talented collection of people wanting to sell their wonderful products in our shop. Why not pop in and see what they can do for yourselves or check out some of our latest stock on the shop page.
GLASSY LADIES - Judy Triner & Co.
The Glassy Ladies are a quartet of lovely ladies who have discovered the joys of creating beautiful fused glass pieces. As they are a group it means that they have different styles and this shows through in the designs that they create. From practical and stylish dishes to purely fanciful and decorative pieces, they produce their work with joy and frequently. humour. It is a pleasure to be able to stock their work. |
TARTAN FOX - Jemima Roberts
All of the Tartan Fox products are handmade out of tweeds, tartans and all have a countryside theme. The Tartan Fox range comprises of feather-filled cushions, aprons, scarves and whatever takes my fancy! Tweeds and tartans have been traditionally frumpy and dull, so my aim is to inject a bit of fun into these traditional fabrics to create lovely one-off pieces for yourself and your home. Please feel free to request a certain animal, fabric or particular colour-way and I can custom-make an item for yourself or as a personalised gift for someone. |
JUST GEMMA - Gemma
My Name is Gemma and I work under the name of Just Gemma. I use a laser cutter and engraver to create cards, pictures, cheese boards and slate ware. I love using the laser cutter as it enables me to do a range of different things, so I never get bored. Lots of my designs can be transferred to different mediums so I am able to engrave or cut them out. I do a large range of cards, mainly cut from recycled brown paper and line them with different patterned paper (I am slightly obsessed with paper!). I also do commission work and wedding stationary. I love doing these and creating something different for a customer. |
NEZ'S CRAFTY MAKES - SarahJane Lawrence
I love making pretty decorations using felt, ribbon and buttons. All my items are hand stitched by myself with a lot of love and time gone into them. I am able to create my designs in a wide range of colours and adapt to suit the customers needs. Much of my work can be personalised to produce the perfect gift for any occasion. |
PAUL AND ROBERTA BRAGG
Paul and Roberta refurbish and re-upholster furniture to very high standards. They are always looking for the next project and applying their extensive knowledge of french polishing, upholstering in traditional methods and using traditional and high quality materials. This ensures that the person who is fortunate enough to purchase one of these lovingly restored pieces will know that their new furniture will be enhancing their home for many more years to come. |
MAGGIE ROBERTS
Living on the edge of Whixall Moss, Shropshire and having a natural affinity with our wonderful countryside and its wildlife, Maggie Roberts needed no formal training or art degrees to bring her beloved animals and birds to life. Maggie can give a fox the personality of a poacher or the poise of the Master of the Hunt. In addition to taking commissions for pet portraits or flights of fancy such as murals in children’s bedrooms, Maggie breathes new life into a neglected gypsy caravan, or a cart or a wagon faithfully reproducing traditional designs, themes and colours. |
SILVER AND SLATE - Alison Fellows
As well as running Craft Revolution, I am a crafter in my own right. I specialise in two areas which are designing and creating silver jewellery and etching designs on glass and slate. The slate is selected hand cut by myself and I am able to etch on my own designs or personalised messages. Where I protect the slate with oil, I use FSA approved food safe oil so you can be assured that the slate is literally safe to eat off. |
